Hi morayandreas,

Can somebody explain how execution works on cTrader

Execution doesn't actually happen on cTrader. cTrader just transfers your order to the liquidity provider.

 If I put limit order is it gonna be executed on the limit price or better no matter what happens?

Yes this is how it should work.

 Does it have partial fillings?

Yes cTrader supports partial fills.

It is not clear to me what the problem is. What do you mean when you say that the charts refresh? Can you please elaborate on this issue with some examples?

  1. Your cTrader ID and the selected account.
  2. Your broker
  3. The strategy name.
  4. If possible, a full screenshot of cTrader with this message.

I would put forth the suggestion that since Spotware has everyone's email address that has joined the forum, to put out a survey to all registered forum users through something like Survey Monkey.

We cannot get into this burden every time someone dislikes something. We would be sending five polls a day :) Also I do not think that we need to get everybody's vote to make such decisions. This is not how polls and statistics work. I believe that the forums have enough participants and voters to run a representative poll with a low margin of error.

Does this still happen or was it just something temporary? Reconnections happen because cTrader cannot establish a good connection with the proxy. There are many reasons this can happen and they are usually temporary.

Most traders that do not want their orders to be traded during news, use cBots to remove and all orders. If you need somebody to program this for you, you can post a Job.

Maybe adding a sentence to the documentation that it is broker dependent would make sense.

We cannot do this because this should not be the case. It's like using an app to order pizza and you get chicken wings delivered instead. This should simply not happen, not added to the app's documentation :) It is something you really need to discuss with your broker.
