Hello.

Presently we do not support push notifcation, so it is not possible to send custom notifications from cAlgo to the mobile application. It's a nice idea and we will investigate the possibility of having this in the future.

Thanks.

Hi lec0456,

It seems that you are running cAlgo on two different machines. The most possible reason is that they have different data cached. Please try the following and let us know if it resolves the issue

  1. Close cAlgo/cTrader application
  2. Open the folder: C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Roaming
  3. Find your cTrader and cAlgo folders (should be roboforex cTrader and roboforex cAlgo)
  4. Open the folder "Cache"
  5. Delete ALL the files in the Cache folder.
  6. Restart the application.

Hi Yoannes,

Tag 40=3 does not close a position. It just indicates that the order is a stop order. If you want to close a postion you need to set the position ID in tag 721 and send an order with the reverse direction.

Hi j.tarno,

Tag 50 is wrong. It should be your account's id. Please check the FIX API sample here to see how to properly contruct a logon message https://github.com/spotware/FIX-API-Sample

Hello,

Yes, you can scale out of winning trades by using a feature called "Advanced Take Profit". You can set up to 4 take profit points to partially close the position according to the value entered.

Read more about it here: http://help.spotware.com/trading/positions#advanced_take_profit

Many thanks,

Hi mindbreaker,

Can you please tell us where did you get these symbol names?

Best Regards,

Symbol naming is up to the broker. Therefore some brokers might have their symbols named differently than other brokers.

Spotware cTrader Demo is just a version of cTrader for demontration purposes. If your application needs specifically WTI or US 30, we advise you to create a demo account with a broker that offers these symbols and experiment with that account.

There is no way to block yourself an application that you have already given access rights from accessing your data. You need to contact us to do so.

There are no limits on how many accounts an application can have access to.

Hi mindbreaker,

Please see below

1) "How remove user account from application ?". This is not very clear, can you please elaborate on what you are trying to do?

2) There are examples of deposit and withdrawal requests in the demo application, you can have a look. Make sure that your POST data format is JSON.

3) In a similar way to 2. Please check that your post requests are in JSON format.

RE: Result of investigation

Hello,

We discovered that 5 orders were sent from some of the strategies you mentioned but were not filled because of the error "not enough money". This means your balance / free margin was not enough to open the positions and not because of a system error.

Many thanks,

RE: Clarification

Hi Brad,

The reason for the difference in profits is because of the closing price of your position. It is different to your strategy provider which is how they ended up in profit and you did not. This is an expected behavior of the real forex market because prices are changing all the time and very fast. For the future you can compare the prices your orders are executed at (they are shown in the "history" section of your cTrader platform) against those of your strategy provider (they are shown in the "history" section of their strategy profile). So all of this information is easily available.

You sold 5000 NZDUSD @ 0.71526. This was your opening position.

Then you bought 5000 NZDUSD @ 0.71538. This closed your position.

This resulted in a loss of 1.2 Pips. The Pip value of NZDUSD is $0.50. 1.2x$0.50= $0.60

Your commission to the strategy provider was 0.08 GBP.

Your loss is easily explained by the above facts.

Your strategy providers position was not only profitable but also 20 times larger.

This difference in prices is obviously discouraging, something you have to bare in mind is this could happen both ways, your positions could be more than your strategy provider.

Hope this helps.

The example already references Protocol Buffers. Check the references.

RE: More info

Hello vladoslbrod,

Thanks for reporting this. We have some questions.

vladoslbrod said:

This last 30 days have been a headache for me.. first i lost my biggest workspace.. it said some kind of strange message
"Needs the newest cTrader to load workspace" , i could load any other workspace, but not just that one..

Was this resolved after you updated?

Now suddenly, all the workspaces that matter to me stopped working?! cant load.. says "error connecting to cHub"
I´ve tried different from different brokers cTrader. still the same..

It seems like this was a temporary issue and should not have caused permanent deletion to your workspaces. Please confirm?

I can load some workspaces, but the ones with more work in them i cant?!
Its like suddenly workspace storage got deducted and none of my workspace with many charts fib lines etc wont load?!

It is possible that the ones that you were able to access were stored locally on your machine, the ones you were not able to access were likely stored in the cloud and unavailable because of the temporary issue.

Please confirm so we know how to proceed.

Many thanks,

cTrader Team.

Hi Spotware,

thank you.  Its ok.  it will be great if you can have A LIVE RSS or COMMENTS FROM SPOTWARE running on your CTDN homepage where any technical news is shared and Traders cna click on it to see more details.

This is so unreliable that for a whole one week no trades are being copied.  I am using IC Markets as a Broker.

Thank you.

///S.Khan

Are you still having the issue of no trades being copied? Because I am not getting any copied trades from the traders that i'm mirroring

Hello bdepadey,

We responded to your other thread to learn more about your circumstances in order to conduct an investigation.

Many thanks,

cTrader Team.
