Is there an easy way to get volume for each bar? Preferably as a dataseries where each bar is the same length as the trading timeframe.

If not, what would be the easiest way to implement this?

Thanks

Dear Trader,

The data you're asking about belongs to Trading Central, so we cannot distribute is. Although, you can request API from Trading Central and use it in your cBot

We do believe that you can find the answers to the basic questions you have in our cAlgo training videos, in particular, the one called "Write your first cBot with cAlgo".http://help.spotware.com/calgo/videos

Dear Trader,

The first time this method is called it subscribes for prices and returns the symbol only when the prices are received. Any additional request will return current prices, as it's already subscribed.

Dear Trader,

As said in our previous post.

Please have a look at the Workspaces section of our user support site.

Workspaces is a cloud feature which you can use to set up and save different platform layouts that you can use from multiple accounts and on any computer, but only on the same platform.

Workspaces created on cTrader Desktop cannot be loaded on cTrader Web, due to the mild variations between the applications.

A saved workspace will include the following (not entirely definitive as it is subject to change)

  1. Open charts (including any options or indicators applied to the charts)
  2. Chart templates
  3. Favourite symbols.
  4. Preferences (QuickTrade settings, layout selection, sounds on/off, etc)

Dear Trader,

You should connect to Sandbox cTrader Web and create a demo trading account. Once you are log in with your sandbox cTID on sandbox cTrader Web they will be linked.

You can't login with a sandbox account to a demo or live platform.

We kindly you to go through the Playground section and the Spotware Connect API documentation again.

Dear Trader,

Currently we don't provide users with the ability to move the Header of the position lines on the right side of the chart. We will consider providing it in the future. Stay tuned.

Additionally, you can post your ideas/suggestions to http://vote.spotware.com/

You can enable/disable the tick volume by right clicking on the chart, expanding the viewing options field and un-checking the "tick volume field". Or you can use the shortcut to the viewing options at the top center section of the chart.

Dear Traders,

As you most probably already know, Sell positions open on bid prices and close on ask prices. Buy positions open on ask prices and close on bid prices. The bid and ask prices are defined by the Liquidity Providers. Usually the ask price is higher than the bid price. Sometimes the ask price may become lower than the bid price based on the liquidity provided by the LPs. Thus, the spread could be negative.

The candles on the charts are created based on the bid prices. It's possible for Sell positions to be closed on a price which is not located on the bar at that time, since sell positions close on ask prices. We kindly ask you to contact your Brokers regarding any execution questions you may have.
