Pending orders with advanced stop loss
08 Nov 2017, 03:44

Hello!

Its my first suggestion here and I hope you guys will find feature I explain useful.

So we have pending orders (buy/sell) to open positions when price reach certine level - its great for trading when you are away drinking coffee or just living your life.
How about upgrade our pending orders feature with advanced stop loss so when pending order became an open position it automatically sets up "move stop loss to break even when price reach x pips" of course we would have to add value x as parameter during setup of pending order.

Example situation:

I have my pending order placed with 10 standard pips sl and 20 standard pips tp.... I am not near my trading desk so I would setup that when position is in profit in 10 pips just move our SL to breakeven... therefore if my pending order would be triggered, price would reach 15 pip profit and then decide to reverse back to my original SL I would be stop with 0 loss instead of -10 pip loss.

I hope you guys get the point.

I am waiting to hear your opinions about it.
Have a nice day!

Dear Trader,

Thanks for posting your suggestion in our forum. We appreciate the time you spent to share your thoughts with us. Your suggestion has been considered by our team for some time now but we still cannot commit to a definite answer, if it is going to be developed and when. However, seeing that there is interest for such a feature increases the chances of adding this into our backlog.

Best Regards,

Panagiotis

Yes. I have to agree that this would be a fantastic feature to have.

Isn't what you're asking for just a Trailing Stop Loss? If so, it's available.
