This is happening by design. Strategy providers often open positions in NOKJPY deliberately to satisfy cTrader Copy's requirements. According to cTrader's rules for strategy providers, there must be 'At least one open position' at all times for a strategy to remain active and available for copying. Strategy providers typically choose NOKJPY because it's a relatively low-volatility currency pair with minimal spread costs and reduced overnight fees, making it ideal for maintaining a required position without significantly affecting overall strategy performance. They often open both a buy and sell position simultaneously (creating a hedge) to further minimize any price movement impact.
This is a common practice among many cTrader strategy providers, not just the one you're following. Unfortunately, there's no way to exclude specific instruments from being copied when you follow a strategy - it's an all-or-nothing approach.

I was also thinking that create a "Price alert" (which get copied onto the rest of the same charts automatically). However, I run into the same problem again. I dont think there is a method in cAlgo that I could use to create an alert? I tried searching but could not find it. There is this "Notification" but it says it plays sound. It wouldn't create a Price alert line

Thank you for your response. You have saved me countless hrs of research - at least I know that such method is not possible and can stop searching for it lol. Can you maybe recommend or suggest a method that would copy the lines drawn onto 1 chart be pasted onto all other open charts?

Yes, based in the UK. No issues opening a 1:500 account. If you are with a EU based broker, you are most likely stuck to 1:30 leverage. Personally, I use ICmarket International with 1:500
