Ctrader comes down
03 Jun 2014, 11:32

I am user of Ctrader and Calgo from 2 years ago but I am thinking to forget the platform.

Reasons:

1- Crashes alone.

2- High memory usage (1.1317.950 kb). It´s not required to charge many pairs.

3- The connection is often lost. Come in and come out alone.

4- Offen appears ... cTrader dejó de funcionar ... I must close, open and lose all the job that I made.

.........

I use MT4 too, and I have not problems with it even if I add more Windows.

I have a modern machine, then I know that it is not a machine problem.

Could you give me any solution ?

Thank you

I don't experience any crashes nor CPU overload nor  frequent feed problems since a lot of time specially after getting rid of Windows 7 and running windows 8.1, and before I only had a few at times. I used to reinstall windows 7 frequently when it get clogged, also poorly coded tier indicators could hamper the runtime.

Beside, MT4 has been coded for Windows XP, it is no match and will never be for Dot Net software like Ctrade and Calgo.

Hi galafrin

I am happy to read to you.The post that I started, it is not to write about the good things of Ctrader or Calgo.

Anyway I read that you had tha same problems....("I don't experience any crashes nor CPU overload nor  frequent feed problems since a lot of time specially after getting rid of Windows 7 .....")

If I continue Reading to you, ( ...... I used to reinstall windows 7 frequently ......). I suppose that you used to reinstall Windows 7 frenquently beacuse your  platforms experienced crashes. It is only an assumption, do you know?, it does not help me what you say

I really don´t understand if the indicators are poorly coded, I don´t understand programing, I download the indicators from ctdn and I codified from 2calgo and I know what I wrote upside.

Then If you have something to contribute to help solve problems writing above I would be grateful to you, if not, let Spotware do its job and give me a solution to the problems I experience, on my part and repeatedly press Shift + Ctrl + Alt + It will T and send them the troubleshooting information, so I imagine that they are working with it and they will give me a solution soon.

Thank you

After you instructions  ("We apologize for any inconvenience. Please press Shift+Ctrl+Alt+T. It will send us the troubleshooting information."), I pushed it a few times.

I think that ctrader sent you the troubleshooting information.

Have you notice about? I don´t use ctrader from then. It´s imposible.

Do you what happened with cTrader new version?  Will it be solution to memory  troubleshooting?

Thank you

We do not see any problem in your troubleshooting report. Could you please be more specific and describe what kind of problems do you observe? We can also recommend you to remove all custom indicators and try to reproduce the problem without custom indicators.

What do you mean when you write "be more specific and describe what kind of problems do you observe"?

I newly write the problems;

1- Crashes alone.

2- High memory usage (1.317.950 kb). It´s not required to charge many pairs.

3- The connection is often lost. Come in and come out alone.

4- Offen appears ... cTrader dejó de funcionar ... I must close, open and lose all the job that I made.

I can add that if I turn on ctrader and I forget it for 10 min (it´s not necessary to work with it), ctrader crash. If I pressed Shift+Ctrl+Alt+T, there is a popup that tells me than will send the problem information to you.

Then, If this popup appears, I suppose that there is a problem, the popup will not appear if ther isn´t.

In next version of cTrader and cAlgo we optimized the memory usage. We plan to release next version this week. We will investigate other problems.
