Margin used in full hedge

What is the margin used when full hedge ? 1 lot buy and 1 lot sell on cTrader ?

Do margin used cancels out and becomes 0 or will there still be same margin used as in no hedge ?

My broker claims that margin used can not be 0 in a full hedge and says this is a cTrader limitation. Is it true that cTrader can not cancel out margin on full hedges?

Hi rememberthelost777,

cTrader offers three types of margin calculation Net, Sum and Max. Net can cancel out margin requirements of positions in the opposite direction. It is the broker's choice which margin calculation type mthey will use.
