Quick thoughts on ICT Trading?
24 Jul 2026, 06:12

Can anyone who’s actually used ICT Trading give me a straight answer on its setup? I need specifics: which pairs work best, ideal timeframe, and what’s a solid risk setup if any of this AI stuff is to be trusted? Free's nice, but don’t want to waste time if it's all just bells and whistles.

RE: Quick thoughts on ICT Trading?

Remember that time last year when everyone was hyping the new Golden Pairs strategy and I threw my whole weekend into it only to crash and burn by Monday? Yeah, good lessons learned. So when I got my hands on ICT Trading, I went in with eyes wide open. Specifically, it's doing alright with the EUR/USD and GBP/USD on the 1-hour timeframe; that's where I've squeezed out some decent moves. And about that AI stuff: it's like having a hyperactive assistant, double-check everything, especially the risk alerts. Went conservative with a 1% risk per trade, nothing fancy, but it hasn’t let me down yet. Felt like a better use of my time, at least I'm not dodging flying spatulas from a weekend cook-off gone bad.

RE: Quick thoughts on ICT Trading?

Alright, thanks for that heads-up. I dove in with the EUR/USD on the 1-hour setup like you said, skipped the GBP for now. Can't afford more weekend disasters myself. Watched the AI like a hawk; it missed a couple of things so ended up overriding those alerts manually. Conservative on the risk too, but tempted to push it a little now that I've seen some back-and-forth win rates. Appreciate the straight talk, finally feels like I've got something to work with that doesn't involve picking my sofa apart for lost change.
