another indicator chasing the holy grail?

wasn't going to spend another dime on so-called revolutionary tools, but couldn't resist the free demo of this VWAP Stdev Bands indicator the other night. yeah, i know, it's like believing in unicorns at this point. it's basically VWAP with a sprinkle of standard deviation to pretend it'll outsmart the market. to its credit, i did see it align with some support/resistance levels, but haven't we heard this story before? so far it's not the messiah of indicators, but then again, what is? if anyone's expecting a miracle for their $29, best to look elsewhere. thoughts?

Exactly, expecting any indicator to be the 'holy grail' is like waiting for pigs to take flying lessons. I used the VWAP Stdev Bands both ways - looped it into my usual setup and also let it run wild on its own. Spoiler alert: it's, shockingly, not magic. I mean, will it provide that eureka moment where trades line up like a meticulously planned heist? Highly doubtful. Maybe it's a refinement tool at most, emphasis on maybe. But hey, every so-called edge counts in this rodeo, right? Just can't shake the feeling I'm staring at a fancier compass in a town full of weathervanes.

u think any indicator can actually be the 'holy grail' and solve trading for us lol like tbh i've tried a few of these with promises and most times it's about how u use em not expecting miracles right? curious how u actually used it did u lay it over your usual setup or just run it stand-alone?
