anyone tried GoldAuctionRetestPro on cTrader?

hey folks, i've been browsing the cTrader marketplace and stumbled upon this bot called GoldAuctionRetestPro. it's priced at $100, which seems reasonable if it delivers. it's labeled as a 'Break & Retest' strategy focusing on market structure, but i'm still trying to get my head around its metrics. the profit factor is 1.39, and it has a max balance drawdown of 12%. i mean, those numbers don't scream 'holy grail', but might be worth a shot?
just wondering if anyone here has actually used it live, and how it stacks up against its backtest performance. does it handle gold trading any better than others you've tried? any insights would be awesome.

man idk about GoldAuctionRetestPro it looks kinda iffy. u see a profit factor of 1.39 and I just think meh like there's bots out there claiming way higher but they still flop when u put em live lol. and that 12% drawdown seems high if things go south. imo, unless u rly got a handle on the gold market structure stuff urself, bots like this can be a bit hit or miss, feels like they're more hype than help, ngl just make sure u don’t go in expecting a magic bullet or anything

Okay, so I dove deeper into GoldAuctionRetestPro after your thoughts and realized something wild. It turns out this bot’s actually been performing decently in a couple of live demos I checked. I know, I know, the profit factor and those drawdown stats aren’t rocket fuel level, but get this—it’s hitting the targets more often than some other bots I've toyed with!! Must admit, seeing it in action kinda pumped me up! I'm revving to try it, maybe with a smaller account cos I'm curious to see if it vibes with my strategy! 🔥🚀 Ugh, if it can just hold steady, I might be onto a little gold mine here! Anyone else getting all in on it???

ran something like that a while back not exact same but break & retest bots tend to be hit or miss tbh with gold it's like trying to pin down a wild horse sometimes good sometimes just tosses u off balance there was around a 15% drawdown and it wasn't the best out there for gold honestly for $100 i'd compare a few others first check forums see if anyone's got updates on it before diving in unless ur up for a gamble might be more fun to use that money and leverage some manual trading moves if ur really into gold
