hey folks, has anyone checked out this realbacktesting Edge FTMO Swing Free bot yet? it's free, which is a plus, but i'm wondering how it actually performs in real trading, not just fancy backtests. the profit factor is 1.6 with a max balance drawdown of 5.89%, which sounds pretty decent on paper. anyone got real world experience with it? does it actually respect those numbers when the market gets choppy?
seems like it's geared towards prop firm trading with features like stop loss management and drawdown guards. curious if those features are as effective as they claim. would love to hear if anyone's put it to the test or if it's worth side-eyeing for now. appreciate any insights!

haven't used this specific bot long-term, but i did run it on demo for a bit. it's free, like you said, so low risk to try but don't expect miracles. i found the stop loss management worked okay in calmer markets, but when things got volatile, it did struggle a bit. i guess that's the nature of the beast with any algo. the drawdown guard was decent too, but if you're thinking of using it with real money, i'd suggest closely monitoring it first. numbers from backtests can look nice, but market conditions shift, and no bot is perfect. definitely worth keeping a skeptical eye on it if you're looking at prop firm challenges though.
