has anyone checked out the sc market structure indicator?

hey folks, i stumbled across this new indicator on the cTrader marketplace called SC Market Structure. it's free, which is a bonus, but i'm curious if anyone here has tried it out yet. it's supposed to help with identifying market structure, but there's not a lot of info on it.
i'm wondering if it really adds value or if it's just another catchy name. anybody using it with success, or should i just stick to my usual indicators? any experiences would be great to hear.

hey, so i downloaded it out of curiosity since it's free. been playing around with it for a week or so. can't say it's been a total game-changer for me, but it does have a nice visual layout that helped me spot a couple of things i might've missed otherwise. i mainly use it alongside my usual set of indicators. not sure i'd rely on it alone, but can't hurt to try since there's no cost involved. worth a shot if you're experimenting with your setup. just my 2 cents.

thanks for the insight! appreciate it. sounds like it could be worth a shot just to see how it meshes with my current setup. the visual aspect you mentioned is definitely intriguing. did you notice if it was more useful in certain types of markets, like trending vs. sideways? i sometimes struggle with identifying the transition points, so maybe it could help there. anyway, i'll give it a download and see how it goes.

haven't tried that specific one, but generally speaking, free indicators can be hit or miss. sometimes they offer pretty standard info dressed up with a fancy name. but hey, nothing lost if it's free, right? honestly, if you're already comfortable with your current setup, it might be worth sticking to what you know works. i've found that adapting to too many new tools can mess with my strategy more than help, unless it shows something super unique. maybe give it a test run in a demo account first?
