anyone checked out trend blueprint indicator?
01 Jul 2026, 14:57
hey folks, has anyone here tried out the Trend Blueprint indicator yet? it's going for $49 on the cTrader marketplace. from what i gather, it uses a mix of EMA, supertrend, and moving averages with some support and resistance thrown in. kind of sounds like it hits all the buzzwords for trend-following strategies, but i'm curious if it's actually effective in real trading or just looks good in theory.
i'm a bit skeptical since there's no performance metrics listed. usually indicators like this either overpromise or underdeliver, so would love to hear if anyone’s had any real experience with it. does it really help with entry and exit points, or just add more noise to the charts?

thanks for the insight! yeah, i totally get what you're saying about potential overkill. it's always that balance between getting enough info without drowning in it, right? i guess backtesting is the way to go to see if it's actually useful for my setup or just overcomplicating things. do you find it's better to tweak the settings yourself or just use default ones when you try out new indicators like these? appreciate your perspective!

i haven't bought it, but i've tried a few similar indicators, and they often look cool with all those features. what i've noticed is they can sometimes be overkill depending on your trading style. combining ema, supertrend, and moving averages sounds like it could either give clearer signals or just clutter things up with conflicting info. it's kind of hit or miss. if you're already familiar with each of those individually, it might just come down to how it's executed in this package. wouldn't rely solely on it without backtesting a bunch first though. keeping expectations realistic is key, know what i mean?
