anyone tried quantum breakout pro?
01 Jul 2026, 14:37
so, I just stumbled upon this indicator called QUANTUM BREAKOUT PRO on the cTrader marketplace. it's priced at 25 bucks, which isn't too bad, but I'm wondering if anyone here has actually used it? it says it uses ADX, Donchian Channels, and ATR, which sounds interesting. but with so many indicators out there, not sure if this one really stands out or if it's all just fancy names. anyone got any real-world experience with it? worth a shot or nah?

haven't bought it myself, but i know a buddy who's been dabbling with it for a bit. according to him, it integrates nicely with some basic strategies, especially if you're already familiar with ADX and Donchian Channels. he mentioned that the setup took a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it gives a decent edge on breakout trades. still, it's not gonna turn around a bad trade by itself. gotta combine it with proper risk management and other indicators. at 25 bucks, it might be worth trying if you've got a strategy that could benefit from those metrics. but yeah, don't expect miracles if you're not already comfortable with the core concepts.

appreciate the insight! sounds like it might be worth a shot then, especially since i'm already using ADX in some of my setups. curious about the getting used to part though—was it more about learning how to read the signals, or was there some tweaking involved to fit it into his strategy? i'm always on the lookout for something that can give a bit of an edge, but yeah, totally hear you on the risk management and not relying on one tool. thanks again for the feedback!

haven't tried quantum breakout pro myself, but i've used similar indicators that combine ADX and Donchian Channels. they can be pretty effective in catching trends if you know what you're looking for. 25 bucks isn't a huge deal if you're experimenting, but remember these tools aren't magic. if you're already familiar with the components like ADX and ATR, it might add some value. otherwise, it's easy to end up just second-guessing signals. maybe see if they've got a trial version?
