anyone tried the immortal - trade management bot?
01 Jul 2026, 14:37
hey folks, just stumbled upon the Immortal - Trade Management Edition in the cTrader marketplace. It caught my eye because it's free, which I find kinda unusual for these bots. Seems like it manages stuff like partial closes, position sizing, and trailing stops, which sounds handy, especially if you're trading with prop firms. But the lack of metrics is making me a bit skeptical. Has anyone given it a shot? Worth the time or more of a hassle than help?

i've played around with it a bit. it's nice that it's free, but don't get your hopes up too high. it does manage the basics like partial closes and trailing stops decently, but it's nothing groundbreaking. honestly, if you're new to bots, it might be a good starting point without risking cash, especially if you're trying out stuff with prop firms and need to manage a bunch of small trades quickly. as for bugs or issues, i didn't hit any walls, but the interface could be a bit more intuitive. overall, give it a try if you have some spare time, but don't expect it to solve all your trading headaches.

thanks for the insight! yeah, i'm pretty new to using bots, so maybe it's a good thing to not dive into something too complex right away. good to know there weren't any major bugs, that's one less thing to worry about. wish the interface was smoother though. but i'm curious, did you find it made any real difference when managing multiple trades? like, did it actually help with keeping on top of things or was it just more stuff to tweak? trying to figure out if it'd actually make trading less stressful or just add another layer of things to fiddle with.

i haven't used it myself, but i've come across a few traders who swear by these free bots, especially for folks starting out or trading on a tight budget. the fact that it's free is definitely a double-edged sword, though. sometimes you get a solid deal, other times you're the guinea pig for some experimental thing that barely works. the lack of metrics is a bit of a red flag, but if you're curious and have the time to mess around with it, maybe run it on a demo account first to see how it handles. better safe than sorry, you know?
