Hi,
if you are starting a robot in the robot section and have several robots to choose from there is a high risk of selecting the wrong robot at times. With the security of having an assigned hot key to start the robot, this will make trading more secure and faster. It also would eliminate the need of having the robot section in sight. With other words you can keep cAlgo in the full screen interface. Which of course is necessary on a ultra book or a laptop with only a screen size of 13-15". Sometimes there is a need for the trader to have both cAlgo and cTrader opened at the same time too and that brings out the need to have cAlgo in full screen without seeing the robot section. Just the ability to start and stop a robot with a hot key would make trading a whole lot easier and safer.

Bringing up this so important step for the Spotware team to pay attention to. Hot keys to start robots in cAlgo and to stop them as well. Smaller devises is taking over the stationary PC industry and to be able to use these devices full out, hot keys is a necessary and need to be integrated, both in cAlgo, cTrader and cTrader Web. Hope this is under development and that we'll see in the near future on the platforms.

Hi bluemercurry,
you can use cTrader Web. Its a browser compatible platform for cell phones and tablets and can be used with a PC as well. Its not an app.
The good thing is you can log in and trade your account from any device where you have an internet connection. You use the same username and password as your standard cTrader and cAlgo account. Every trade made on cTrade Web is of course updated on both the cTrader and the cAlgo platforms.
since a week my ctrader mobile wep doesn't work properly . it shows up in my galaxy tab for just seconds then disappears ??? and i launched google chrome , for 4 days it worked perfectly but after then i got the problem which i mentioned above . i need your advise if u could
Hard to say what is affecting your browser. Did you try another browser? And are you then experience the same problem? Also what kind of OS do you have on your tablet, I assume Android. Maybe an upgrade to a later version will fix it. Anyways think its just a glitch that should be easily fixed. I would say the best bet is to try another browser. It should work as there is many traders using cellphones and tablets with cTrader Web. I would like to see an app developed especially for cTrader. I think its in development cause Android is one of the major players today and can´t be overlooked anymore.

Hi DrPeter,
some kind of news implementation is needed as a standard within the Spotware platforms. This should not be left to the brokers to decide what kind of news service that will be delivered. It can be a second choice and a option for us traders but a standard news service should be delivered within the platforms from Spotware.

Great that you made the change to give us even more accurate reading on the latency to the severs.
Please give us additional info about the latency given to the Proxy and the brokerage server.
1. Proxy server is the first server to handle the request of an order, lets say (60ms).
2. Next is the latency to the brokerage server handed over from the Proxy server. (50ms)
So the total latency to get an order executed in this scenario is 110ms for a round trip?
Thanks..

Thanks breakermind, once agin!
Will test the code when the market opens tomorrow. Good that you got it working and printed OK.
One question though my robot do not opening positions only closes positions, so it'll be interesting to see if it it will work in my robot.

Hi citicot,
a very good question, where is it stored? I think its stored at the Spotware server and handed over to the order stock at Roboforex as fast as the latency will permit. So the order will be at Roboforex when its executed. I'm not entirely sure that this is the way it works and some clarification is needed from Spotware. Good question!

Oh, forgot to mention the cTrader youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-_HweZUGS4
Very good video explaining the difference between cTrader and the rest of the pack. Have not seen it before, so I enjoyed watching it very much. One killer video it would have been, if it would have zoomed in and out on the different aspect on cTrader platform between the 29 points listed and compared in the video.

Hi Spotware,
will you clearify it a lttle more, please.
My opinion is if you place a stop loss and the market is when the stop loss is triggered, out of range. The platform should still take the stop loss as a fact and close the position immideately. This is bound to happened now and then in a fast moving market. A position without a stop loss can be devistated for the trading account. The purpose of placing it, is to protect the position and should do so under any circumstances. "Changing protection to relative values will allow us to remove such validation".
If that means that a change is coming to prevent a position with a stop loss, "not to be out of range", we are welcoming it.
Thanks..

Hi,
It seems the moment one mention a broker on the forum you'll get removed by the moderator! It would be nice if a thread with rules is started by the moderator regarding what is permitted by members and what is not, would be a great help for members posting.
Thanks..
