Hi jordangail,

No, this is not a bug, it works like this by design. If you submit invalid stop losses that cannot be placed, then you need to decide what happens next.

Hello,

I'm not sure this is happening because of spread. Just now I had a position on EURJPY with a move-to-break-even set at 25 pips. The spread is currently 0.4 pips, but still my stoploss was removed. What else could be causing this?

Hi jordangail,

This can happen when the SL is moved within the spread. In this case, the price is invalid and the SL cannot be set, leaving your position exposed.

Is there anyway this could be fixed/changed? As in instead of removing the stop loss completely,  it either keeps it at the original stop loss position or it only moves it once the spread allows it to do so. It seems absolutely crazy that you could literally lose your entire account because of the way this is designed. Thank you
