Each broker has his own cTrader instance which connects automatically to that broker. You need to download each broker's cTrader platform to be able to access that broker's accounts.

Connection to Forex Broker

Thank you that clears up my confusion.

When I signed up for an additional broker (TradingView) , I was invited to download and install cTrader.  Since I already had it installed, that made no sense to me.

I can certainly launch another instance, but I am not aware of how I connect that to a specific broker.

Is there a place in the documentation that gives more detail on this?
