1. You mentioned: "it becomes slower the longer you backtest it."

* This might be because of a slow computer, possibly with a slow CPU and low RAM.

2. You also mentioned: It has now stopped (even though the backtester is still running) on the 08/05/2023 and there are no errors? Its just ground to a halt

* The testing period ended on 4/5/2024 (4th May 2024).
