Hi there,

You can try something like this

                        var maxAmountRisked = Account.Equity * (RiskPercentage / 100);
                        return Symbol.NormalizeVolumeInUnits(maxAmountRisked / (StopLoss * Symbol.PipValue), RoundingMode.Down);

Hi Liquidity,

Here you go

            if (Positions.Count < MaxPositions)
            {
              ExecuteMarketOrder(TradeType.Buy, Symbol, Volume, "BUY");
              ExecuteMarketOrder(TradeType.Sell, Symbol, Volume, "SELL");
              foreach (var position in Positions)
              {
                if (position.Pips > 2)
                {
                    ClosePosition(position);
                 }
              }
            }

Hi dionysian.apostle,

No. cTrader does not consider margin in any way during backtesting.

Hi dionysian.apostle,

In brief, margin is not considered at all during backtesting.

Hi mohsen548,

There is nothing to check here. MT4 ises a different model than cTrader. TP and SL cannot be assosiated to a deal. TP and SL are set to a position, they can be changed many times and a position can have one or more deals. There is not much sense to this info.

Hi dionysian.apostle,

If your question is if cTrader stops out a trade due to a margin call during backtesting, then the answer is no. It will be added in a future version of the platform.

Hi mohsen548,

The statement exports your deals information. SL and TP do not apply to deals but to positions.
