Role Overview

We’re looking for a skilled SaaS Developer to design, build, and maintain our privacy-focused web application and Chrome extension. You’ll work across frontend, backend, and client-side processing to deliver a secure, fast, and scalable product that millions of users trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Unfollows.net web platform and Chrome extension using modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Implement client-side local processing to ensure user data never leaves their device.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance UI/UX for global users.
• Integrate file parsing, ZIP processing, and JSON data analysis for Instagram data exports.
• Collaborate with product and design to ship new features (tracking, whitelist, real-time updates, bulk actions).
• Optimize speed, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code; conduct code reviews.
• Monitor and improve system stability, uptime, and user experience.
• Support free/pro feature tiers and subscription logic.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience as a SaaS Developer, Frontend Developer, or Full-Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frameworks (React/Vue preferred).
• Experience with browser-based tools, Chrome Extensions, or client-side heavy applications.
• Understanding of privacy-by-design and local data processing principles.
• Familiarity with ZIP/JSON parsing, file handling, and asynchronous logic.
• Ability to build responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs.
• Basic knowledge of SaaS architecture, feature tiers, and user flow design.
• Good English communication skills (team collaboration, documentation).

Preferred

• Experience building social media analytics or follower-tracking tools.
• Knowledge of web security best practices (CSP, XSS prevention, data safety).
• Experience with CI/CD, deployment, and performance optimization.
• Passion for privacy, user safety, and minimalist, high-quality products.
