SET Default for Objects

I’ve encountered an issue when trying to set a color for an element and save it using the checkbox labeled "Set as default for". Although I select a color and check the "Set as default for" option, the setting doesn't always persist, and the color is not applied as expected. This happens intermittently, and I'm unable to determine a specific pattern for when it works or when it doesn't.

Could you please look into this and let me know if there’s a solution or a fix?
