Why are the results different when I test and invest real money?

I have tested it. The backtest results are very good. But when I put real money in, it is not as expected. Backtest. Has the system been tested to be in a good direction? The reliability seems to be reduced.

Hi there,

You need to provide more information about your issue. Please provide the following

  • A screenshot of your backtesting settings
  • Screenshots showing the discrepancy between a trade taken on a live account and on backtesting

a common mistake tat folk make is that they backtest on m1 bars, rather than tick data. without exception, tick data will give you the closest outcome to that of live.
