Changing a chart's symbol and time-period using an indicator

Hi,

 

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find a satisfactory answer searching the forum.

 

I want to create an indicator using a form that contains symbols from my custom watch list and a few time-periods that I'm interested in, where if I click on a button, it will change the chart to the selected symbol and time-period.

I think the display is doable using window-forms, but what I don't see in the indicator API is the ability to change the symbol or time-period of the chart that the indicator is attached to.

 

Is this at all possible, or not?

Hi gallderhen,

Thanks for posting in our forum. Unfortunately it is not possible to change the Symbol of an Indicator. It is always the Symbol of the chart to which the indicator is attached to.
