Mesuring pips

Hey Guys. 

I measure pips on ctrader with the cross. 

If gold moves 10 Pips it shows me 100 pips. is there a way to set it up that it shows me the correct value when I measure on gold?

Can you explain why you think it's 10 pips and not 100?
