Email alerts - unable to change the account that triggers them.
01 Nov 2019, 15:35

Hi,

I'm trying to configure email alerts. However the account ID that is selected is one of my Demo accounts.

I cannot change this to my live account as there is no drop down menu.

I can however tick and untick which criteria trigger the alerts, such as; stop loss, take profit e.t.c.

Any idea how I can change the account used to trigger email alerts?

Thanks,

Hi soursunshine103,

Thanks for posting in our forum. Email alerts in settings correspond to the account selected in cTrader. You can change the selected cTrader account on the top right of the screen. Can you please post a screenshot to see what are you looking at?

Best Regards,

Panagiotis

Hi, Thanks for the prompt reply.

It appears I may have posted in the wrong forum.

I'm using Ctrader-Copy.

When I enter the web client - (non-copy) and click on the top right of the screen - I can choose from three demo accounts, however my live account isn't there.

I have a live account on Ctrader-copy, that I am currently using.

It's within Ctrader-copy  that I cannot switch accounts to my live one.

Using: https://ct.spotware.com/copy/

I am clicking on Spotware cTrader at the top of the screen.

This gives me an option of; 'Switch accounts'

And it's in this menu under; 'account number'  -- - that I have access to three demo accounts, but the live account I have isn't visible.

Hi soursunshine103,

To access your live account, you need to use your broker's cTrader. Live accounts are not accessible via Spotware cTrader Beta.
