How to make chart fully freefloat?

It is possible to drag chart but only to some extent. If one wants to drag chart to the left (creating more space into the future), the chart is locked and allows to create space just very near in the future. All in all it's impossible to draw objects into the future. Is it possible to make it fully freefloat?

Grab the countdown timer and drag left so you bring more of the future in as shown:
