Charts for NASDAQ and Other Index' are missing and completely offline from 8pm GMT to 7am GMT.

I am currently in the process of witching my workflow from MT5 to cTrader due to the Prop Firm Industry changes.

Ive set up a Demo account in the software, but charts are missing all data from 8pm GMT to 7am GMT, along with being untradeable in this time also.

From other people I have spoken to, they don't seem to have this issue, but I'm cautious to continue a challenge with cTrader without knowing If I will still face these challenges on the Live Challenge Account also.

Extra: I also get a notification (and found information online on cTrader Website) saying that I get filled at VWAP and not the actual price. This of course is awful for scalping, day trading and even swing trading. Will I face this issue also on the live challenge?

Thanks in advance, I cant seem to get any definitive answers anywhere.

Hi there,

Price feeds and execution is a responsibility of your broker/prop firm. You should talk to them.

Hey Panagiotis, 

Thanks for the response. 

My Prop Firm has said this isn't an issue others have faced, which is a good sign.

 

However the examples and pictures I gave you had no connection to any Prop Firm or Broker as I created the Demo directly in the cTrader software. (Top right corner)

Are these market hours and vwap fills normal for a demo account created directly in the cTrader software?

Hi Lewis,

Demo accounts are only for demonstration purposes. You should not take them as a representation of a live account.
