Advanced features for CTrader

Hey Guys....New to CTrader coming from MT5 backround now if someone could help me it would much be appreciated.

I have always used a trade manager to calculate position size scale out of trades like i use TP1 TP2 and sometimes TP3 as well as using B.E after a certain amount of Pips achieved.

Now i now there is the advanced trade management in CTrade but i can only get it to work in orders already open and not pending orders as i find this to be really silly.

Also i tried to download a CBot for advanced features but once the CBot is in use it looks the chart and you cannot scroll through other charts i also find this to be really silly...now if you have place a trade using a CBot how are you supposed to keep moniroring other pairs and trades and stuff..

Can anyone help please and is there anything around these as these things are no problems using MT5.

Hi hasstrader,

Indeed advanced protection works only for open positions.

However regarding

now if you have place a trade using a CBot how are you supposed to keep moniroring other pairs and trades and stuff..

In cTrader you can open as much charts as you want so if the cBot locks the one that needs to operate on, this should cause you any problems in monitorng the market.

But once the Cbot is active all the timeframes and watchlist is blocked until i undo the Cbot...is there anyway around this?

Yep understand but that way is not really ideal for me as i have around 80 instruments i monitor on a daily basis already setup in the watchlist so i cannot just open up a random chart to see....also my positions could take from 1 to 2 weeks to finish so the cbot will be on for atleast that long...so i guess its not really ideal for me.
