Anyone know how to set alert for candle close above not just cross above?

Anyone know how to set alert for candle close above not just cross above?

I trade off the hourly chart and I need the normal alert function to work as it does but only if the hourly candle CLOSES above or below the price I want. Currently I can only get it to activate if price crosses above or below and not closes.

Any ideas?

Hi marshalmax9,

Thanks for posting in our forum. There is no such functionality in the built-in price alerts. However if you are familiar with programming, you could write a cBot that would send you a notification when this happens. Else you could reach out to a consultant to help you.

So in an effort a void duplication, does anyone know of a bot that does this sort of thing?

Also I am not a programmer.
