Templates not fully saving between sessions
Templates not fully saving between sessions
29 Nov 2018, 11:13
Spent hours building a set of detailed templates. I saved them constantly, without question. Many many saves. I applied them as saved, and they loaded as saved. Then.... I restarded cTrader, and my templates loaded as very early versions, with the last few hours of work lost.
And, because there is no easy way to re-order oscillators other than delete and re-insert, I have to start 100% from scratch to get everything in order again.
Using 3.3x, not sure how to find the exact version.

Hi dmn,
We tried to reproduce your problem but we could not. We will need some more information to check the problem. Can we arrange a TeamViewer session with one of our QA engineers to check what is going on? If this is possible, please send me an email at community@spotware.com.
Best Regards,
Panagiotis

Thank you for your offer of advanced help, I appreciate it. But based on time my zone on Friday evening, it will have to be next week.
Like my Advanced Protection issue, this one is also intermittent. Will at least get a screen shot next time it happens.
The template I was failing to save earlier today is now saving. But I was getting the same error yesterday every now and then as well.

Now getting "Can not save template" error message.
I have two almost identicle templates side by side on the same work space. Only difference is the time frame and the viewing options. One saves ok, the other does not.
And no, I will not share my workspace or template with you. That is proprietary.
This is not good enough. We don't pay you, but our brokers do, and they will lose our business if your platform doesn't work efficiently. I spend 6 hours a day making money, or trying to, and cTrader is making that harder, not easier. Think about that. This is not a game. I just changed brokers and had no choice but to use cTrader. It is great in some regards, but very undeveloped in other areas.
