How do I hide the highlighter and data box for an indicator

How do I hide the highlighter and data box for an indicator

When my cursor passes over an indicator I get that hug ethick grey highlighter and a databox telling me what it is.  Traders really really really do not need or want that clutter. Is there a way to disable it?

There is no way to disable this feature.

What possible benefit do they offer a trader? Why have these 'features' in the first place?
