Is login with trading ID now disabled?

So before I could go onto my brokers webtrader version, at the login screen where it asks you to login with Ctrader id, there used to be a link you could click that said "Skip this step and login with my trading account",
Has this been removed and why?
I could see this causing some problems when your ctrader ids arent linked properly, before you could just login with trading account anywhere and any platform, but now you can only login with ctrader iD?

Dear Trader,
Thanks for posting in our forum. Signing in using trading accounts will be gradually depreciated for most of the brokers using cTrader. Since, many of our features depend on our cloud infrastructure and cTID, it is a necessary measure to ensure that all traders have access to all the features. If your accounts are not linked with your cTID yet, please contact your broker to link them for you.
