Windows, Mac, and Web Version Gap - Risk Reward Tools
20 Mar 2025, 02:46

Hello,

I've been using CTrader for a good year, and as a trader and software engineer, I'm trying to understand the reasons for the discrepancy between the PC, Mac, and Web versions. The tools I've been asking for here for a long time are risk management and advanced protection.
Given that you've already developed all these tools and probably own the source code, would it be possible for you to make all the tools set for all versions and compilable for Windows x64 and Windows ARM, Mac, or Web platforms?

I suspect there are often libraries that aren't portable and require rewriting the program. This is often time-consuming and requires retesting.
I'm asking because I'm a Mac user, and the easiest way, I think, would be to compile a Windows ARM version for Parallel, which works exceptionally well on Macs with M1+ chips.

Please shed some light on this.

Best regards
