Errors in cCopy software

Hi,

I have used cCopy for approximately 15 months. It is very good piece of software, unfortunately with some bugs in production code, which costs users their real money.

Last bug found by me is about not copying transactions at all. I have 2 live accounts: the second one is connected to the first one by cCopy tool. Transactions on the second account were copied from the first account for the last one year. For some reason it stopped being copied about two weeks ago.

Could you please fix the bug? Who is responsible for losses made by flawed piece of software?

I will provide all necessary data needed to resolve the issue.

Hi Pawel,

There are many reasons that could lead to orders not to be copied between accounts. To investigate further we need the following

  1. The strategy name.
  2. The follower's account and broker
  3. The deal IDs which have not been copied.

1. Mercury capital (it is private strategy so it is not visible from outside - only via invitation link).

2. Provide and follower accounts are from IcMarkets broker. Provider account number: 1083572, follower: 1083810.

3. All starting from 14th of December.

It seems your broker has disabled the follower's account. Please contact your broker.

Thank you for your time and response.

My broker however responded: "This unfortunately seems to be an issue on Spotware's side".

During previous error found in your source code situation was the same. Broker suggested that issue was on Spotware side, Spotware that on broker side.

Your client relationship is with your broker and your broker is solely responsible for your accounts. The broker has the exclusive responsibility to solve such issues. If they still think this is our problem, then they should contact us directly to explain to them what needs to be done.
