Still paying the copy supplier despite their poor performance?

Hi,

Is it possible that I still pay the copy supplier if he or I stop copying when my own funds are below my starting capital? Simply because he made gains for a few days before the situation turned to loss?

Hi njountsoprodrigue,

It depends on what kind of fees you pay e.g. Volume fees are paid regardless of the performance of the strategy. Performance fees are only paid if your account is in profit, compared to the previous high watermark.
