supertren Bot – Does it actually deliver?

Alright, I've got to cut through the noise here. Someone in my trading chat keeps going on about supertren bot. It's priced at a hundred bucks, which isn't peanuts, but I'm more hung up on that 29.8% drawdown. Sure, a 1.68 profit factor sounds alright, but is anyone actually using this with real capital and seeing that it's worth not pulling your hair out? Need a straightforward yes or no, none of that glossy backtest stuff.

right, so here's my issue with what you said—it's not about the price or the pretty numbers they're dangling that's a given we've all got eyes that cut through that fluff it's this hesitation to actually say yes or no and i get it you're not using it yourself but if no one is putting actual money where their mouth is then what's the point of these bots existing you've just answered but on the fence could really use a direct answer from someone who's put skin in the game otherwise it's just noise we can all speculate but concrete proof that's what we're missing

oh boy, isn't it always the question of whether any of these bots are really worth more than the paper their FAQs are printed on well not that you’d print them these days but you get my drift so here's the thing I've seen a lot of talk about supertren and other similar bots if you will in the trading community here and whenever I hear about someone raving about these bots I just have to step back for a second because sure they dangle these attractive numbers in front of us like that 29.8% drawdown which they’ll say is just part of the game and then there's that 1.68 profit factor which might seem shiny but is it really better than just trusting your gut sometimes and watching those moving averages when you're actually in the thick of it and personally I'm always wary of something that costs a hundred bucks because you're not just buying the bot you're also buying into this whole mindset that something external can manage the market better than sheer instinct and analysis and okay I haven't used it personally but I can't help thinking isn't it just another tool that could potentially make things over-complicated when we could just stick to solid old strategies and patient watching but what do I know maybe there's a unicorn out there.
