anyone tried the realbacktesting balanced ftmo swing bot?

has anyone checked out the realbacktesting Balanced FTMO Swing Free bot? it's free on cTrader, so i'm tempted to give it a spin, but i'm curious about others' experiences first. it claims a profit factor of 1.64 and max balance drawdown of just 3.97%, which sounds pretty decent for a prop firm setup. the tags mention stuff like 'ATR' and 'drawdown guard', which seem promising, but you never know if these backtest numbers hold up live.
it's supposed to be balanced and low drawdown, and i'm all for minimizing risk, but wondering if anyone's run it and seen how it actually performs over time. free bots can be hit or miss, so any insights would be appreciated!

thanks for the reply! yeah, that’s what i was kind of worried about, the backtest numbers not holding up in real situations. the demo account idea is solid, i'll probably take that route first. have you found any free bots that were actually decent after testing them live? not expecting it to be amazing since it's free, but anything that doesn’t crash and burn would be nice. trying to get a feel for what’s actually reliable out there. appreciate the insights!

hey, i haven't tried that specific bot but i've dabbled with a few free ones on cTrader. honestly, they can be pretty hit or miss. the profit factor of 1.64 sounds alright for a free bot, but those backtest results can be super misleading sometimes. like, they might look great on paper but end up performing differently in real market conditions. the drawdown guard and ATR tagging is interesting though. i’d keep an eye on its live performance for a bit before diving in with real money. maybe try it out in a demo account to see how it handles different market conditions before fully committing. free doesn't always mean bad, but i reckon having low expectations helps.
