anyone tried the balanced ftmo swing bot?

so i was poking around the cTrader marketplace and stumbled upon this realbacktesting Balanced FTMO Swing bot. it's priced at $240 which seems a bit on the high side for me. they're touting it as having low drawdown with a max balance drawdown of just 3.97%. apparently, it's fit for prop firms and has a profit factor of 1.64. i'm a bit skeptical because metrics can look rosy on paper but not always hold up in live trading.
i'm curious if anyone here has actually used it, especially in a live account. does it manage TP and SL as well as they claim? and how does it handle in a volatile market? i might be interested if it really delivers, but hesitant to bite the bullet without hearing some real-world experience first.

thanks for the reality check. kinda what i thought, the theory and practice often don’t match up. yeah, manual intervention is the part that worries me, especially if things start going sideways in a hectic market. i guess finding someone who’s used it live would be the best bet. hadn't thought about looking for a trial or demo version, that could definitely help, but not sure if they offer one. definitely gonna keep my ears open for more reviews. appreciate the insight!

hey there, haven't used this specific bot but I've been trading with FTMO so I can kinda relate. a lot of these bots look pretty on paper, the low drawdown and profit factor sound good and all, but it's the real-world volatility that’s the kicker. live trading experience can be different, especially when the market gets wild. management of TP and SL is crucial, but it also depends on how often you need to intervene manually. sometimes bot strategies align with more stable market conditions. if you can find anyone who's used it on a live account, that would be the real test. maybe check if there's a free trial or a demo version? it’s always a mixed bag. $240 is a chunk of change to drop without hearing a few firsthand experiences, at least for me.
