Back testing unreliable

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has found the back testing tool unreliable? I have a bot which gets the instruments it wants to trade on passed in as a parameter. It runs OnBar and loops round these instruments and gets the latest bar. If I run this on 3 separate instances I get 3 different outcomes. How can this be? Surely it should be going off and getting the same data. The 3 different instances are set up in the same way on the same time frame. So I am not sure what to do?
