What is the new "ProtectionType" parameter in ModifyPositionAsync?

Hi all:

Can anyone explain what the new ProtectionType parameters are, or what they do, in the ModifyPositionAsync method?

They've just recently appeared with a new release, and I couldn't find any posted documentation on them in the API section (but would be grateful if someone can provide a link if they are documented there)
