SuperTrend Bot and Indicator issue.

Hello guys,

I have created a bot based on SuperTrend indicator. However, this indicator is showing differenc value in cTrader chart than Treding view chart. This triggers my orders in cTrader bot incorrectly.

Below are the snap of Trading view where SuperTreder value is 156.561 in cTrader while 156.525 in TradingView. The parameter is same ATR 55 and Factor 7.

Can you anyone help me why this is happening?

THis could be for a multitude of reasons:

  1. the logic for calculating the SuperTrend could be slightly off or incorrect in one or the other platform
  2. different brokers receive different price feeds. As such, since prices could be different, that will affect ATR and also ST calculations
  3. The parameter you have for the ST in your bot could be different than the parameters you have for the indicator in cTrader that's actually displayed on the chart.
  4. and so on and so on…
