6 daily candles during the week
6 daily candles during the week

I notice that for some reason during 2 weeks in november cTrader is generating 6 candles during the week, instead of 5.
You can see this here:

November 4-9 and november 11-16.
Basicaly, it apears that cTrader is generating a candle for sunday. It doesn't matter what you set the user time +2 or +3, all that does is make sunday part of the week before or the week after.
The question is why or should sunday have a candle? It appears tradign for the week ends friday afternoon and resumes the following week on sunday or monday dependeing on your time zone. I would think the sunday candle should be part of monday's trading and not a separate candle.
Is there any explaination for this?

Interesting, I looked at 3 other brokers and this behavior does not occur. They generate the 5 candles as expected during the weeks mentioned and agregated weekly as expected. also, for the broker where the behavior was observed I did not find it occuring in the past. So, it appears to be just these 2 instances.

Actually, IC markets also has 6 daily candles for the week of Nov1-6 and Nov 8-13. It continues with some very strange behavior. The newyork market ends at 16:00 EST on friday instead of 17:00 and then resumes on sunday for the last hour of trading, this is all being agregated into friday's daily candle.here is an example:

by the way, according to the weekly series, Nov 4 is included in the previous week's open and close prices. So, the week runns from 10/29, 10/30, 10/31, 11/1, 11/2, and 11/4!
